The summer season is started!
The summer season started on May 1st and goes until November 07th 2010.
Due to work in progress the cable car "Merano 2000" is closed until December 2010. In order to reach Merano 2000 you can take the line bus SASA directly from Merano.
Otherwise you can take also our "Merano 2000 Shuttle" from the cable car's valley station. The shuttle brings you daily and directly to Falzeben.

Meran 2000 in Hafling and the
city of Meran offer the best of mountain outdoor
sports and history in one South Tirolean location.
Hafling is the home of the famous Halfing horse and
the year-round mountain sport resort, Meran 2000. In
the winter, the Meran 2000 ski resort offers a
complete variety of exciting winter sports
activities and fantastic views of the of the Ortler
and Dolomite mountains. In the summer it is a
favourite spot for hiking, Nordic walking, mountain
biking and just plain enjoying the fresh air and
views in the Italian Alps. In both winter and
summer, guests enjoy the famous South Tirolean
cuisine and genuine hospitality at the hotels and
full-service restaurants as well as the new Meran
2000 Alpine Bob Sled. In the valley, the old town
centre of Meran (which was the 13th century capital
of Tirol) offers not only countless art history
treasures but also the famous alcove-lined shopping
street “Unter den Lauben”. The street’s speciality
shops, galleries, cafes and restaurants invite you
to stroll, wander and shop to your heart’s desire. |
